Mid-Week Prayer Focus: Wednesday, 6:30 PM (3rd Wed of the month is a business meeting)

Our greeters may meet you at the door. When you enter, Sanctuary is to left. If arriving early for Sunday school, most Sunday schools are to the right, feel free to ask (visitors welcome).
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Feel free to hang around after the service for fellowship and to meet new people.

Southwood Baptist Church exists to bring God glory as we share the Gospel, proclaim the Word of God, and make disciples by bringing the light and love of Jesus the Christ to this dark world

Church Verse 1: Romans 12:10

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor

Church Verse 2: John 15:12-13

This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

You are saved by: 

• Admitting that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:10 & 23) 
• That God has placed a price on your sins by dying on the cross. (Romans 3:23, Luke 34:23) 
• Jesus died, as a free gift, to pay the price for your sins and offer you salvation, leading to eternal life, as a result of His death on the cross. (Romans 5:8) 
• You must receive God’s gift of eternal life as found in God’s Word, the Holy Bible. To do so you must believe Christ died for your sins and that Jesus rose from the grave by the power of God, then make Jesus Lord of your life and make it known to others. (Romans 10:9-13)
